If you’ve ever tried to build a website without a clear process, you know how quickly things can spiral into chaos.

Endless revisions.

Missed deadlines.

Misaligned expectations.

A site that somehow… works, but doesn’t.

That’s why I don’t just build websites in Webflow; I guide clients through a clear, repeatable, and calm process. One that turns messy ideas into beautiful, strategic websites that convert.

In this post, I’ll walk you through the 5 stages of my Webflow process  and how each step brings clarity, results, and peace of mind.

Discovery Define Before You Design
Before I open Webflow, I dive into your business

     1.Who is your audience?

2.What is the goal of your site (potential customers, sales, authority)?

3What’s working today and what’s not?

4.Who are your competitors and how do you want to stand out?

We also collect:

  • We also collect:
  • Brand materials
  • Page requirements
  • Content sources
  • All the inspiring sites you love (or hate)

A site without a strategy is just decoration. Discovery ensures we design with purpose from day one.

Planning Structure for success. This is where we build the plan

I create:

  1. A sitemap that shows every page we’ll build
  2. A content plan that defines what goes where
  3. A CMS collection plan (for blogs, team members, etc.)
  4. SEO structure notes (URLs, metadata, titles)

We also define:

  1. A call-to-action strategy (what do we want users to do?)
  2. Needed integrations (forms, booking tools, etc.)

This phase prevents surprises, missed pages, or endless “Can we add one more thing?” requests later.

Design Turn strategy into visuals

Using the insights and structure from earlier, I design your site page by page (in Figma or directly in Webflow).

Each page is:

  1. On-brand and mobile-friendly
  2. Built with a clear hierarchy and conversion in mind
  3. Styled to put your user experience first

You’ll get interactive previews and have time to provide feedback before anything is fully developed.

Great design builds trust and drives action. Here, we translate business goals into visual storytelling.

Building Webflow Magic

Now it’s time to bring your site to life in Webflow

  1. Set up clean classes and global styles
  2. Use symbols and components for efficiency
  3. Add animations, interactions, and hover effects
  4. Create all CMS collections and dynamic templates
  5. Optimize for SEO, speed, and accessibility

Every build goes through testing on all breakpoints and devices so the site works everywhere.

A Webflow build should be fast, clean, and easy to scale. I build with long-term goals in mind.

Launch and beyond

  1. Set up your custom domain and hosting
  2. Configure SEO metadata, Open Graph, and favicon
  3. Add Google Analytics or other tracking tools
  4. Submit your sitemap to Google
  5. Provide a training video or post-launch guide
  6. Stay available for support in the first few days after launch

You can also opt for ongoing support if you need monthly updates, new sections, or optimization over time.

Launch isn’t the end, it’s the beginning of your website working for your business.
